Location: Oceanside Pizza – Melbourne Beach, Florida

Date of Visit: 05/30/2019

Florida Stuffed welcomes you to the last restaurant visit for May 2019. This is also the first restaurant to be featured from Melbourne Beach. It took approximately seventy-five minutes to reach this spot from Orlando and it was worth the drive. This visit was all about the pizza. It was a pleasant day in Melbourne Beach and I stuck around at the beach for a few minutes after eating here.

Oceanside Pizza offers a pleasant atmosphere, easy-going and friendly staff and plenty of options for your appetite. This place takes an authentic approach to good New York style pizza. The difference here is definitely the quality ingredients and fresh taste. Aside from the cozy atmosphere, I felt welcomed here as a new customer. Service was definitely here.

Accessibility: Oceanside Pizza is located on Ocean Avenue (AKA South A1A) in Melbourne Beach, Florida. Plenty of parking is available in front of the restaurant. Traffic was light in the area at the time of my arrival, approximately 3PM.

Customer Service: I was greeted upon entry. My order was taken at the register. My server was great. She was friendly, helpful with my ordering and I appreciate her getting me a fountain drink refill without me asking for it. Open seating is available with plenty of seats inside. My order was brought out to me in less than fifteen minutes.

Dating Scene: Pizza means yes for any date or outing. Seating arrangements are good for small and large groups. The restaurant is also family friendly as well.

Lets Get to the Menu: On this visit, I tackled a 14 inch medium pizza. Mine was custom ordered with extra cheese, fresh mozzarella and grilled chicken. Chicken is usually not a pizza topping for me but I took a leap. For a 14″ pizza, this pizza was pretty big. Two people could have eaten from it. It was a cheesy pizza indeed. It was an enjoyable amount of cheese, and the chicken was a nice addition. The crust itself and sauce were very fresh. Each slice held together nicely. My total came to $21.37 before tip. On the menu, you will find specialty pizzas, subs, wings, desserts, pastas and a selection of beers. I would suggest a couple budget between $25 to $40 here assuming you order a 14″ pizza, appetizer and fountain drinks. Delivery is also available.

Restaurant Cleanliness: No issues to report.

Extras: You are approximately 1/3 miles from the beach, approximately 20 minutes from Interstate 95 (depending on traffic) and there are other shops in walking distance.

Forms of Payment Accepted: Cash or credit card.
