Location: The Burger Place –Melbourne, Florida
Date of Visit: 05/09/2019
Welcome to Florida Stuffed! I am starting May with a trip to a burger spot in downtown Melbourne, Florida. It has been almost a year since the last time I was in the area and this place was worth the drive from Orlando. I was not sure what to expect here but I was pleasantly surprised. This place offers a modern yet classic diner atmosphere and plenty of options for your burger at low prices.
I arrived at approximately 430PM and remained approximately forty-five minutes. The restaurant was comfortable, and took me back to a different time. The atmosphere had classic rock music in the background and the menu was simplistic. Burgers, fries and milkshakes is the best combination in history. Overall, the food experience was great, very fresh and it was worth the money spent. The most important thing here is that your burger is made the way you want.
Accessibility: The Burger Place is located on East New Haven Avenue near Vernon Place in Melbourne, Florida. Traffic was light in the area at the time of my arrival. I used parallel parking on Waverly Place but there is additional parking along New Haven.
Customer Service: I was greeted upon entry. Orders are taken at the register. Open seating is available inside and outside. The crew was friendly. After receiving my order, I was not checked on during the remainder of my visit but the cashier was welcoming and helped me with all of the options on the menu.
Dating Scene: A comfortable atmosphere and an easy-going dine-in experience make this a date-worthy spot. The restaurant is family friendly and seating options are suitable for small groups, or couples.
Lets Get to the Menu: On this visit, I ordered an 8 ounce burger. It was custom-made medium well, topped with bacon, sauteed onions, sauteed mushrooms and barbecue sauce. Along with my fries and fountain drink, my total came to $13.72. This burger alleviated my hunger quite nicely. The burger was fresh and hot from start to finish. The toppings gave even more flavor and I suggest you eat the fries right when they come out. They were very good as well. The pretzel-style bun was fresh and held the entire burger together. On the menu, you will find burgers in 4oz, 8oz, and 16oz. There are also other sandwiches available including BLT and veggie burgers, kids menu items, sides, salads and a selection of beer. I suggest a couple budget between $20 and $30 assuming you order 8oz burgers with fries.
Extras: You are approximately ten to fifteen minutes from Interstate 95 and/or the beach. There are also plenty of places to check out in walking distance.
Restaurant Cleanliness: No issues to report. Very clean restaurant and dining area.
Forms of Payment Accepted: Cash or Credit Card.
