Location: Cocolando Creamery & Cafe –Ocoee, Florida

Date of Visit: 04/15/2019

Welcome to Florida Stuffed and the last installment of the second annual Ice Cream Month here on the site. A recommendation brought me to this spot in Ocoee, Florida. It turns out Cocolando has a second location in Oviedo so check out whichever location is closest to you. I chose the Ocoee location because of later operating hours. This spot is a comfortable place to enjoy your choice of ice cream, and you will find friendly service and reasonable prices.

I arrived approximately 830PM and remained approximately thirty minutes. During my visit, I had the chance to try a few different flavors. In fact, I went back for seconds. This place offers a pleasant decor, easy ordering and a friendly staff that greets you and makes sure you are happy with your order. Recommended if you are in the area looking for something sweet.

Accessibility: Cocolando Creamery is located in the Publix shopping plaza at the corner of Clarke Road and Silver Star Road in Ocoee, Florida. Plenty of parking is available in front of the restaurant. Traffic in the area was moderate at the time of my arrival. No issues getting in or out.

Customer Service: I was greeted upon entry. Orders are taken at the register. My order was ready immediately. The crew was friendly and a pleasure to talk with. I was given a little tour of the ice creams available and quick to get me seconds when I decided to stick around a little longer. Very attentive crew and they make you feel welcomed.

Dating Scene: This place offers comfortable seating and an easy-going atmosphere suitable for a quick date. The restaurant is also family friendly and seating arrangements are suitable for couples or small groups.

Lets Get to the Menu: On this visit, I ordered a scoop of: Cookies and Cream, Vanilla, and Banana Pudding. My bill came to $6.58. All three were enjoyable. The ice cream was not overly sweet in a good way but still had a great amount of fresh flavor. The banana pudding was a great surprise. It is one of their most popular ice creams and it was smooth with a fresh banana flavor. The cookies and cream was vanilla based and I could have eaten a gallon of it. Very smooth and the bits of cookies made it a perfect mixture. The vanilla should not be ignored either. Sometimes I just like a good plain vanilla. You will find other flavors and their variety changes. Please note, they have a vegan option available. You will also find shakes and sundaes on the menu. A couple can keep their bill under $20 here, making this a very affordable experience.

Extras: You are approximately five minutes from West Oaks Mall, and SR-408 (Tolls).

Restaurant Cleanliness: No issues to report.

Forms of Payment Accepted: Cash or credit card.
